One of the friends was in the habit of taking a pillowcase to the corner bakery to pick up bread

They decided they needed something to use that looked better than the pillowcase but could find nothing on the market so they went to Montreal's famous Rue Chabanel to buy fabric and began producing the prototype of what is now their reusable bread bag.

Dans le Sac is a blog, a YouTube channel and an online shop, but it is also a lovely extended family where people are there and ready to inspire people on their own as well.

The founders of Dans Le Sac.

We launched Dans le Sac to inspire change. Protecting the environment is more than just a passion, it’s a lifestyle for us. Making our own make-up, cleaning products and composting is something we’ve been doing for many years now, but it was in May 2016 that it all came together for us and we launched Dans le Sac to inspire change on a larger scale.

From the design to the printing of the labels, each and every one of our products is entirely handmade here in Québec. Dans le sac proudly supports the local economy. We design products that respect our environment and promote a sustainable lifestyle. For ourselves, but also for our planet!

Environment

We make sure every decision and choice that
is made is for the good of our planet. Which is
why each of our products is reusable and
multi-function and that their packaging is
minimalist, and made with paper that is
100% recycled and recyclable. We also print
with plant-based ink.
